The fiance's big birthday month.

This month is going to be crazy for me. I have decided to put my job hunting on hold because frankly, it just wouldn't be worth it if someone called me back. My fiance is turning 21 tomorrow. We got him new speakers for his car doors for his birthday and they will be installed tomorrow. I will be picking him up at the location and going with him for a birthday breakfast. After that, we will hang out and eventually go to Medieval Times for dinner.

This week I plan on accomplishing a lot of homework for the month, laundry, and cleaning my house. Next Saturday I am having a Tastefully Simple Party and next Sunday my fiance and I are going to the Redskins vs. Colts game.

We are leaving the 21st to go to California for Blizzcon and 2 days at Disney. Then spending the remainder of the time in Las Vegas with my fiance's brother and sister-in-law. We return home on the 31st.

October is just whack. I am mostly writing all of this stuff out so I can remember it all =) But it's going to be a good month and that makes me happy. The fiance and I need this month to be good because the rest have just been. Well, shit.

  1. I meant to tell you about this after church on Sunday, but I got completely distracted by going on the best-friend-has-to-meet-the-new-boyfriend date with Stephi and Chris. So now I'ma tell you about it ^_^ It's something Pastor Cathey said during the after discussion at church about Psalm 23. So if you want, you can pull it out and read it, but this is just a little something:
When it comments on leading to the green pastures, I always imagined like super deep alfalfa or something like crazy gorgeous and lush. In all reality, those green pastures are not like that. The places it is referring to are very little patches of grass that are spread around the desert where water will reach them. The analogy is to the sheep eating just what little grass is provided to them during the day, but they don't worry about dinner or the next day because they know that the shepherd knows where the grass is and will lead them to it when he knows they are ready.

So I know this has been very frustrating for you, and rightfully so, but I dunno, it made me feel a lot calmer when I put it in those kinds of words. God will give you everything you need for right now. Don't worry about tomorrow, the next week, or the future because He's got it under control. He knows what you need, He knows where to find it. He'll provide it for you when He knows you are ready and can take it.
Just a thought. It helped me chill the fuck out about school, and I thought of you immediately and I hope that it helps you out some too. Lord knows I suck at giving advice, but I thought that was quite the little nugget :P

Love you chica and know that I am an excellent listener and I know you know you can talk to me about anything, but this month we might be a little busy GETTIN OUR NERDZORZ ON IN CALI!!!! BLIZZCON 2010 WHOOP WHOOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
