Zombieland versus Driving

Today was a good day.

I took it upon myself to sleep in, skip school, and make today about laziness! I feel refreshed and ready to conquer another week at my hellhole that is my job!

First I woke up and had lunch with my fiance, followed by a productive trip to Walmart and the bank, followed by getting my eyebrows waxed (which I feel as though caused me to lose 20 lbs) and ended with a nice dinner with my dad and siblings. It was a lovely day.

This evening I took part in worshiping God by going to choir for the first time in two weeks. Can I just say that singing releases so much stress from a body? I just feel more than uplifted when I leave my church on Wednesday afternoons.

After choir I drove my fiance's manual car home for the first time on the "real" road. I did not clonk that car out one time. And this isn't just some crappy manual, no! This is his precious Chrysler Crossfire, and I drove it home, semi-nicely. To me, not clonking out is nicely. I will learn to shift gears more smoothly as time progresses =p But I am SO excited about this! My dream is to one day own a Dodge Viper (I swear to you that this dream will come true) and of course I want it to be a manual! Plus, if I am going to marry the guy, I need to be able to drive his car that will soon be half mine! That is one check mark off of my list of things to do before I die!

I finished up this evening by cuddling up to my husband-to-be and watching my recent Netflix; Zombieland. If you have not seen this movie, stop reading right now and go get it. It is absolutely hysterical. Through the movie I discovered that if the entire human race was to develop a disease that caused them all to turn into Zombies, that I would be one of the remaining survivors.

And I would Kick. Rombie*. Ass.

I mean it, I would be so beast. Think about it, not only do you have to kill them to survive, but you have literally nothing else to do each and every day! I would literally make it the best game in the world and go crazy! I love it.

Anyway, I am working the next 4 days straight. I cannot wait for my paycheck to come in. My fiance and I are planning a vacation together at the end of May, and I would just like to say, HALLELUJAH! We both need a vacation so badly that I don't think I will make it through May just waiting for it to arrive. However, I truly have no other choice but to work through it!

Buona Notte,
Sam-m

*Rombie= Retarded Zombie.
